You may have seen those protests and crowds on TV, but that is altogether a subtle fraction of gays and lesbians. Most just urgency to have a short relationship with some big cat/girl, then be with someone else, then someone else, etc. They ordinarily dont stay with the same partner for that long, so they dont sine qua non to get committed like that.
