In the novel, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, by Ken Kesey,  domainy of the patients in the ward  commence  leave  prohibited of  presumption and self-regard. The three patients that lack the most self-respect and dignity  are Billy Bibbit,  political boss, and Harding. These three characters have had tragic past  picture that causes them to lose their dignity, or man hood. Billy Bibbit  missed his dignity by flubbing the  suggestion to the  muliebrity he loves, Chief lost his self-respect by  existence ignored in the past, and Harding lost his man-hood because he  brook not satisfy his wife.  totally of these patients suffer from their lost  gazump and dignity, and all of them became mentally ill from the lack of self-respect. The novel shows how lack of dignity and self-respect of  integrity self is the source of mental illness. Billy Bibbit is born with a  tal   king to impediment. He stutters  near every word he tries to say. His  return treated him  ill in the past, and he was never taught better. His  invigoration starts be being made fun of.
